How does it feel to be in the dark world, where you really cannot see anything? It really feels like you're blind where you can actually see things because your eyesight is not yet lost. As Christians, we should be the light of this lost world. We will give light to all who need light instead of hiding our light. We will hold forth this light before men that they may see what a life the disciples of Christ lead. By seeing this, we can glorify the Lord for redeeming, transforming, and inspiring the lost, and opening to themselves the way to like redemption and transformation.

Let your light shine means letting your holy life, your pure conversation, and your faithful instructions, be everywhere seen and known always. In all societies, in all business, at home and abroad, in prosperity and adversity, let it be seen that you are real Christians. Jesus also says, “Since you are light, SHINE!”. This “light” is not equated with good works. Rather, the light illumines the good works in such a way that men notice them and glorify God.

He brought light into existence when He created light out of darkness at the dawn of time (John 1:2–3; cf. Gen 1:2–3). Then, with His birth, He brought light to the spiritual arena. Jesus is the life and light that darkness cannot overcome (John 1:5). In our world today—when good is often considered bad and bad is seen as good, when truth and error are switched around—people are looking for direction in life. May we be the ones who shine the light of Christ into our world
