The greatest commandment of all is this: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. We must supremely love Him. We must love Him with all our powers in very deed; nothing short of this could satisfy God. This is the nature of our love to Christ: i t must be sincere, with all the heart. It must be i ntelligent, with all the mind. It is also e motional, with all the soul. And, i ntense and energetic, with all the strength. Observe that love is not merely one way of fulfilling the Law. It is the best way. Far better to love man so much that to steal from him would be impossible. Love is the most important thing. And, love to God will produce obedience, voluntary, cheerful obedience. That is why loving God above all else will produce great and fulfilling results. Your love to God will moderate your affections towards worldly enjoyments, which are apt to take up too much room in our hearts, and to engross unlawful degrees of our love. It will q...

The enemy can play a trick on us to hold us captive. But, the Bible assures us that there is "no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit" (Rom. 8:1). We have been set "free from the law of sin and death" (Rom. 8:2). But, the enemy of our soul tries to make us believe we are still dominated by sin. What shall we do then? Reflect on what Christ has done. He died for our sins and declared an end to sin's control over us (Rom. 8:3). He rose from the dead and gave us the Holy Spirit. Now, we are empowered to live victoriously in Him because "the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us" (Rom. 8:11). In Christ, we are set free. Experience true freedom. Take every thought captive in obedience in Christ. Follow Him. Invite Him in your hearts today to rule over it.

What is the meaning of being worldly? It is being concerned with material values or ordinary life rather than a spiritual existence. In our everyday walk, we must focus on being godly instead, rather than being worldly. God commanded us in Romans 12:2 that we should not conform to this world. Conforming to the world can be ungraceful. The world is full of chaos, evil and disaster. There are a lot of superficial values and customs that are not pleasing to God's eyes. God doesn't want any of His children to experience these things. He loves us so much and He wants the best for us, so, He instructed us to turn away from these.  Let us not copy the behaviors and customs of this world. Don't be worldly, be godly instead. Let the other people see Jesus in you. Focus on godly values and ethical attitudes, which is the Fruits of the Holy Spirit (Gal. 5:22-23). So, that you may prove for yourselves what the will of God is, which is good, acceptable and perfect. His plans and purpo...

How do you feel when people bless you? Also, how do you feel too when the people around you promotes positivity? Indeed, it feels good and you love to be with those people. You want them to be with you in your daily walk. You feel encouraged to do epic everyday. God instructed us to keep our tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies (Ps. 34:13). Surely, it is disappointing if someone's saying bad things around you, especially to yourself. Lying is a sin, and God hates sin. But, he don't hate the sinner.  In this sinful world, instead of being negative, let us spread positive vibes around. Bless the people around you, and God will bless you, too. Speak blessings, instead of evil things. For sure, we will put a smile on God's face if we do these things.

Tasting and seeing the Lord's goodness means discovering yourself the wonders of the Lord. Let the kindness of the Lord will reveal to you today. He is a sweet Heavenly Father. All who come to Him will be blessed. Come to Him for protection, and you will be glad. An invitation to draw close to God, to experience His love and the goodness surrounding Him. He offers protection, direction, peace, forgiveness, wisdom, and more. He is good.  Taking refuge in the Lord indicates we trust Him—whether our situation or circumstances are good or bad. We run to Him for the little things in life, the big ones, too. And sometimes, leaning on God during those hard situations are when we truly taste and see His goodness the most.  When we depend on God and willingly look to our Father to meet our needs, provide direction and protection, and so forth, He calls us blessed. He coats us with His favor.
